BetterHalo began with one simple question: why should something we wear almost every day feel ordinary?
Color often reaches us before words do. One shade may reflect who we are today; another may hold the feeling we want to welcome next. That is why we begin with two colors—not rows of fixed designs.

From fresh fabric
Washed three times.
Designed slowly.
Our regular collections begin with newly purchased fabric selected for its color, texture, weight and movement. Before it becomes a scrunchie, every fabric is washed three times, fully air-dried and carefully pressed.
These quiet steps take time, but they let us understand how the material truly feels and behaves before we begin cutting.
Regular BetterHalo collections use newly purchased fabric. Carefully saved offcuts may be reimagined separately through limited Studio Leftovers pieces.

We do not simply repeat one shape in different colors. Each design is considered around the fabric itself—its texture, structure, movement and the way it looks when worn.
We use sewing tools for strength and consistency, but every seam is personally guided. Measuring, cutting, stitching, shaping, label placement and the final check are all handled with care.

Along with your two colors, you can tell us about your hair texture, volume, how you wear it and anything you would rather avoid. The result is not completely random: it is a balance between choice and discovery.
